Steve,

O2 sensors (i.e micro fuel cells) will work in high humidity
conditions. What causes the problems is the formation of water/moisture
on the sensor face which interupts the diffusion of oxygen through the
membrane. Without this turning into a Cochran bashing session, I refer
to my earlier post re:- Drager's comments that at present they were
unable to come up with a suitably moisture tolerant system for them to
use it in an oxygen control system. Notwithstanding that there are ways
to reduce the formation of moisture on the sensing membrane, without
seeing Cochran's product I would reserve any comments.

How would it 'plumb in'. This would have to mean modifying the
inhalation bag.

Why do you not know what you are breathing?. You have an analised gas in
the cylinder, you have a figure for a worst case scenario of oxygen
metabolism, a scrubber of known remaining duration, a means of flow
checking the system prior to the dive, a means to check it's still
flowing during the dive.
