You missed the next paragraph I wrote, then, where I noted that doing a mix-by-weight would be problematic in a boat, with wave motion throwing off the accuracy of the scale. I've blended nitrox between dives out on Lake Ontario before. For my personal mixing rig, I'd spend the money on a good gauge that I can use in a boat first.
