Personally I think it may be an embarassment of riches. It may be that =
they are selling off 'excess' regulators. I think the Poisiden Jetstream =
(w/sherwood first stage if you are lucky enough to find someone that is =
willing to part with the old big bore piston) or the Odins now with the =
Posiden firsts are the best high performance cold water reg on the =
market (I have five sets of them). There are a couple of caveats =
however.

In order to get them set up right you must know what you are doing. =
These are not exactly no maintenance regs. They also breath 'wet' which =
bothers some folks but not me. On the other hand I have yet to see a =
Posiden that I have tuned free flow in 32f water in a good current which =
is quite common in the winter months in the St Lawrence. In comparison I =
have seen many other low or no maintenance regs free flow just by =
turning on the air in cold conditions. Such as any Dacor, medium to low =
range Sherwoods and almost any Mares. Some others good preformers I have =
used with marginal success are the Scuba Pro G250s, the Abyss is and =
best bang for the buck the Sherwood blizzard (but it doesn't have quite =
the performance of the Posiden.

Dan.
