Subject: Re: Hogarthian setup and ScubaPro regs

     I use Mk 10 first stages. I set them up/down on the posts, with the
     bulk of the regulator beneath the valve nipple. What you say is true;
     it is difficult to have more than two whips pointed down on that
     model.

     My left post has the short hose pointing at my neck, so there is as
     little bend as possible. That lets me use a shorter hose than that
     monster that comes with the regulator. The drysuit whip also comes off
     the left and points straight down, originating from the LP port on the
     end of the housing. The SPG points left, and presents more profile
     than any other hose. (Anyone know how to decrease that angle?)

     The right post supplies the long hose, which points straight at my
     right ear, and the BC, which goes straight down.

Just wondering if any of you guys using a Hogarthian doubles setup are using
ScubaPro 1st stages? If so, how do you align the 1st stages? Do you lay them
out sideways so that your hoses are vertical or do you adjust your rig to
accommodate horizontal ports?
