Chris i dived a wreck in 200ft this weekend with a bunch of guys who wore NO bouyancy device and only single tanks. They did bottom times of 15 - 18 mins with decos ranging from 15 - 20 mins. I saw one guy do some deep stops. Out of 10 divers one had slight shoulder discomfort and another a splitting headache. Not a high DCS rate really. Perhaps you should cut your 30 mins down to 15 and dive with a single tank. The quote of the weekend was "you can never be too safe" as they lowered a spare cylinder to be hung under the boat. They even managed to find a bar of silver and lug a porthole back to the anchor line with their single tanks. I dived twins, did 25 mins and didn't find squat. >On Mon, 28 Oct 1996, "Christopher M.
