I've worked with the Waikiki Aquarium guys collecting Nautilus in Palau 
(different species from the one in PNG, but looks identical to the 
untrained eye).  They used a whole fresh skip-jack with slices in it, and 
would get 10-40 or so critters on an over-night set (they'd also get a 
bunch of big ugly conger eels).
