Hank Garvin co-captain of the research Vessel Wahoo suffered a heart attack
last thursday. The doctors said he was lucky that it was not a severe one.
Today they conducted tests and found that he has 3 major and 3 minor arterial
clogs in his heart. Tomorrow they will perform bypass surgery. 

Hank is well known in the wreck and technical diving communities and is loved
and liked by many. Hank has been witness to the growth and development of
many of the wreck divers who frequent these lists. He has explored all of the
great wrecks and we hope will continue to throughout his life. I call upon
you to take a moment and say a little prayer that his surgery is a success
and that his recovery is speedy.
