Well, I am not sure that the adverse reaction rate is necessarily *much*
less than the quinolones. I jus think that it is a more effective malaria

True, but at a dose of 100 mg/day in an adult, GI intolerance is
rare. Much less than with other tetracyclines.

I find that if people use a *complete* block - factor 20+ - with UVB as
well as UVA effect, I have never seen a photosensitivity reaction.
