A friend of mine has a DUI suit, a cf350, I think. She stored it in the garage for not very long, just a few months, folded up, in the heat and smog of LA. She just found that the latex seals have rotted. She wants the suit repaired quickly, and was looking for ways to do it herself. I have tried replacing seals with sailing drysuits, without much luck, but hell, duct tape works when something fails on a sailboat. This is life support equipment. My advice was to send it to DUI. So, anybody have any other ideas? Are they reasonably quick? Anybody have experience with good shops replacing seals? If there is a decent do-it-yourself kit, I would consider getting one to take along on trips. Also, not that anyone here would ever actually consider doing this any more than you would breathe pure O2 on the Doria's Lido deck, but how do you store latex seals long term? ======================================================= Roger Carlson w 310-812-0430 somewhere off Hermosa Beach, CA f 310-812-1363 roger@ch*.sp*.tr*.co* h 310-frogger =======================================================
