Rebreather Forum 2.0 A Diving Industry Workshop 26-28SEP * Redondo Beach, CA Dear Presenter: I want to thank you for agreeing to participate in what promises to be a very important workshop. We currently have about 65-70 people registered representing a wide range of diving applications and interests and I am expecting another 20-25 industry registrants over the next three weeks. Enclosed find a copy of the final program and updated schedule. If you have any questions about your presentation, please speak to your session's chair person or give me a call. We will have both a 35 mm and overhead projector and a white board for your use. Please note, that unlike the tek.Conference which many of you have participated in, these sessions will rely on active audience participation. We plan to leave ample time in each session for audience questions, comments and discussion. Getting this input and feedback, will be the job of session chairs/moderators as will be keeping the sessions focused on the issues. Rebreather vendors will have an opportunity to give a presentation on their plans and systems Thursday pm during the Rebreather Market session, followed by hands-on presentations Friday morning at the lagoon across the street from the hotel. If you haven't already done so, please contact Tracy Robinette (714.773.5909, f: 714.773.0471), who will be coordinating the lagoon sessions, regarding the number of units you are bringing and any special requirements. We will have display tables in the main meeting room area for you to display your equipment. As I have discussed with you, we plan to do a proceedings of the conference and will be taping the sessions. For that reason, we ask that you prepare a written version of your presentation (where applicable) for inclusion in the proceedings. Ideally, I would like to receive these at the conference in hard copy and electronic form. If you have any questions, please give me a call. I urge you to get your Forum registration in if you have not done so. Also, if you are planning to stay at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, you will need to make your reservations with PADI Travel Network (714.540.7234 ext 2, f: 714.540.2983) right away, as the hotel is no longer holding a room block. I look forward to seeing you in Redondo Beach.
