Subject: Re: Rebreather Forum Update
Did anybody else get this?

I had no idea I was a sufficiently advanced technical diver to be presenting
at this forum. The last time I received such high industry accolades,
I was presenting the PADI Open-Water lecture on residual nitrogen, where
they use different colored jelly beans to represent the residual nitrogen
for each repetitive dive you have made. I got a perfect score on it at
my Instructor Exam (wheee).

If you REALLY gotta know, I'll post a script. This demo works
for the clueless, and if you feed them jellybeans, the sugar gives
them a good pick-up for the anti-techdiving lecture that follows.

If somebody BEGS, I'll also script the air vs. mixed-gas lecture demo
I used before PADI introduced the enriched-air class. It's fun to
play with multi-colored props (teaching aids, we call them) in front of
students, as I'm sure many of you will attest.

SNIP: [ah hell, the rest of this is history. I have a real job and a real
life, and
I'm stuck on dry land for a while.]
