Rebreather Forum 2.0 Update 8.21.96

Greetings:
We are getting a steady flow of sign-ups for the Forum.
1) Registration:
This week (23AUG) is the cut-off for the early registration discount. If you
haven't gotten your registration form in, please call or fax it into to: PTN at:
800.729.7234 ext. 2, or 714.540.7234 ext. 2, or fax 714.540.2983.

2) Program: The final program is nearly completed and will be mailed to
confirmed registrants/participants next week. As mentioned in previous update:
Meetings will be held Thursday- Saturday 26-28SEP. The hands-on demos will be
held in the saltwater lagoon across the street from the hotel on Friday 27SEP.
Water temp will be around 64-68* F so please bring an exposure suit and mask &
fins.

We expect to have the following units there; Biomarine CCR 500, CCR 1000,
Carleton Technologies Mk-15, Cochran Prism 2, original Prism, Cis-Lunar Mk-5,
Divex Stealth, Drager Atlantis, Lt. Lund, LAR V, Environmental Support's Frog,
Grand Bleu Fieno, a working Shadow Pac, Undersea Technology's UT 240 and we are
working on a few others. OC Lugo will be supplying the sofnolime.
ALSO: The Historical Diving Society will be displaying some historical
'breathers. Orcatron will be providing some of its new comm gear, and you'll
have the chance to go F2F with Bev Morgan/DSI (or better yet with daughter
Connie) who will likely be giving new meaning to the word face. Watch this
space.

3. Attendees: In addition to dive store owners & instructors, we will have a
good showing of AAUS members, NOAA, NASA, military procurement, training and
testing personnel, photographers and film-makers. Almost all of the recreational
and technical training organizations will be represented. Physiologists,
supporting manufacturers and some special guests. There will definitely be a
high density of the circuit who's who and of course, all those cool machines.

4. Hruska & Lesser will be hosting the (no-charge) Bicarbonate Buffet, Friday
evening 27SEP from 7:30-10:00. Bring your best lawyer jokes.
