Rich, if I were stupid enough to dive a piece of equipment that requirted five bailouts, I guess it would make little difference how they were mounted. Carry on. Farb's bottle attatched to his MK 15.5 is a little different than what is being perceived here. By the way, we carry stages, run long distances quickly, so maybe we know something about how to carry gas, just maybe. Ponies are for strokes - a dual port manifold has the redundance built in. Like I said, do it right or stay out of the water. Discussing the best ways to do it wrong just fucks up anyone trying to learn, and encourages them to waste money. Rich, uou need to point out that you are diving an experimental rebreather and that even you are not nuts enought to dive it without a copy of every gas you will need to complete the dive- a real advantage Wreck diving and cave diving require low drag , high effeiciency, and easy access - poney "tamers" and other strokery are for the guys back in the dive shops to sell you and then laugh after you walk out the door looking like a stroke. Trust me, I've been there done that.
