Dear Randy,

Do you mean you are a recreational diver who has not been exposed to
technical diving information terms and definitions or that you have recently
completed a Technical Diving course and now you are a "tech diver" but the
program was taught by one who knew little about technical diving and you now
need us to help you throug hthe terms?

Or is it that you are a recreational diver and have subcribed to this list
in he hopes of getting the information here?

Either way there is no one Glossary of Technical Diving Terms and Technology
there are many books written about technical diving some better than others
and some not worth mentioning that have much of the terms and techniques
described in them -- most quality dive shops do carry them -- you may want to
start there. Also there are some fine magazines that cover technical diving
that are also avaialble at dive stores. Deep Tech, SUB AQUA, Scuba Times
ADJ, and a new one, Immersed that may be of help to you.

I must point out however that reading any of these books or magazines will
not qualify you to conduct or attempt to conduct technical dives. This only
comes from training with the top trainers in the world and paying your dues
through hundreds if not thousands of dives.

I hope this helps you.
