I designed my OC rig so that I can easily climb out of it underwater (perfectyl balanced, both I and athe rig are independently neutral). Furthermore, the majority of my dive sites are not areas of high fishing, so there are very few lines to worry about getting tangled in. I liked the Pony Tamers better than the other models I saw because 1) the pony is held flush against the main cylinder, instead of half an inch or more away; and 2) I found them very easy to disconnect and remove (Generally upon returning to the boat, I would climb out of the rig, detach and pass up the ponies, then pass up the doubles). > It seems that many here recommend attaching it similar to stage bottles. > What do you think about that? One of my (perhaps unique) requirements was to have NOTHING mounted up front - leaving my arms maximally free to maneuver hand nets around fishes. I have always hated clipping stages or anything else up front. As I said, though, this may have less geenral applicability. Aloha, Rich
