Alex,

I use a piece of one inch webbing with a snapring on each end.  I snap one end
to a ring 
over the tank valve and the other back over the one inch webbing.  As for a
safety 
noose, who needs it?  In case my primary noose comes un-done I just un-stuff my
long 
hose and wrap it around the tank valve before putting the reg in my mouth. 
Works great!
