Chris

On the $100/hr I doubt that was a true statement, especially as I do
not think there is a real membership of the US deep diving team at this
time. I know most of the people who may become associated with it, none
are at this moment except for the founders and they are not in
communication with anyone that I'm aware of. Many of the ones that are
stated occassionally on the net such as Larry green are quite good
friends of mine and are about as layback and mellow as anyone can
be.Also exceptional cave divers and among the first to ever use gas iun
a cave. I get amused at the things i read on the net as I know so many
that poetential members of the team who have said absobulutely nothing
publicly about folks. Some do not particip[ate on the net as any
viewpoint that is different even if valid immediately brings about
slams and other blast and name calling.

I anticipate doing more diving with the WKPP but that will not change
my opnion about slamming people and some of the degrading comments that
arte put out. These are the reasons there is not more open discussion
of diving practices etc on the net it simply is not worth the slams to
most people.

A good point is anyone who likes to buttmount a light gets hit hard.
Yet I defy anyone provided lights of equal capability or used to show
how a buttmounted light is unsafe. I use both waist mounted and
buttmounted lights and consider the buttmount to be far superior, for
this statement there will most likely be a week of slams but it does
not change the facts it is more streamlined, more balanced and allows
both sides of the backplate/pack to be able to eficiently carry stages.
One arguement is you cannot tow with a buttlight, I find no difference
with either light in that respect. I practice with both to be sure. By
the way I was waist mounting cave lights years before anyone now or
past who is involved with WKPP ever made there first cave dive. And I
still prefer buttmount. I also like back pain free diving thus use a
transpack.

I have stayed off the subject lately as I get tired of the
batteringtoo, but I just wanted to show you the results if someone else
states a reasonable point of view.

By the way this is just to show another viewpoint, I do not have the
time to get into a six week war so it will only be addressed now
