Dude, you hit the nail on the head: only a storke would dive a high delivery
inflator. This falls under the category of fighting an unseen demon (sinking)
with one-dimensional thinking (what happens when the thing runs away). The only
way to be a bigger storke than this is to do the same on a drysuit, the
ultimate
inignorance.

Use a low delivery inflator, and on the drysuit tune the reg way back - do
not
hook you drysuit to your backgas .

Also use a porper grip on the disconnect. If you can not get the right one,
and right now it is difficult as the manufacturers are too freaking stupid to
understnd this, melt or heat shrink some plastic or rubber around the knob for
a
better grip.

It is amazing what a working brain can do for you in this sport, and what
the
penalty is for listening to strokes. Anybody out there hear an instructor tell
them how great a fast inflator is?
