I've heard about it; however, it seems that it is like a tiny toggle 
switch that is next to impossible to operate wearing gloves.

European valves don't usually have burst disks... I've seen an 
european valve modified to incorporate one, though (name witheld to 
protect the guilty from flamage)...

I wonder how much insurance/liability lawyer bullshit it took to
mandate burst disks... (NOTICE TO FLAMERS: don't assume that by
saying this I think bursts disks are not a good idea).
