Much of the theory and limited data was presented at the AAUS Biomechanics
of Safe Ascents Workshop held at Woods Hole in 1989. The proceedings from
the workshop have been available from AAUS (American Academy of Underwater
Sciences) and DAN. You can check with Don Harper (AAUS Publications Chair)
at harper_d@ta*.ta*.ed*.
