Interestingly, both the Monitor II and the Aladdin Pro are made by UWATEC, and are essentially the same internally. And, the Aladdin Pro also reads inaccurately when the battery is low. One problem noticed with the Aladdin Pro is that the low battery warning is not real functional, and they have been known to go into this kind of failure mode during a dive without any advanced warning.
