Not true. Current policy is that anybody who meets the pre-requisites
will qualify.

Bullshit. Policy is in accordance with current UK Legislation governing
proffesional instructors. i.e A minimum of a restricted part 4

Julian,
You would do well to refrain from spreading this kind of
incorrect information, it does little other than cause unecessary in-
fighting. If you wish to become an IANTD (or any other agency)
instructor of whatever grade you simply have to fulfil the pre-
requsites. The techdiver forum is to discuss techniques etc related to
extended range diving, not for people to whine on about not getting
badges.
I guess rule 1 applies..........
