We deploy from the wreck but do not tie to it. The system is a bag with a small weight in it with whatever length of tape that you require in it,the tape is about 1in in width and stitched to the bag/ holdall at one end and to the surface marker at the other. To deploy you simply take the bag off, take the smb out of the bag, inflate by whatever means you use (we have small cylinders coupled to the marker for an auto inflate system) and let go.It deploys remote from you with the holdall going down and the marker up, no snagging! Every 3m we have a D-ring for you to clip to for long stops and we drift with the tide until clear for the top.(our boats do not anchor to the wreck) try it and see. regards > > David Drake EDS/SATURN Infrastructure 8-320-4190 on GMnet > Spring Hill, TN USA Internet: saturn.ddrake05@gm*.co* > > >-- >Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@terra.net'. >Send subscription/archive requests to `techdiver-request@terra.net'. -- john thornton
