I agree with your comments.

Strangely enough, my Ali SMB cylinder failed on me about 1 month ago,   
only about 6 months old.  After some incompetence in testing the cylinder   
by Advanced Diving Products, they replaced it.  The fault was a very   
small hole(!!)  In the shoulder of the cylinder that causes a small but   
noticeable amount of air to escape.  Another minor problem with the   
cylinders is the poor quality of the black paint finish which blisters   
and peels.  Otherwise a great product.

All; sorry to spoil the party but my ali cylinder failed on me and today
on my dive boat another one did. The system is great but we need decent
cylinders for it.
