One of the local dive shops here in Dallas has an Atlantis on display. One of the first things I noticed about was the submersible pressure gauge; it was calibrated in bar, rather than psi. Somebody tell me how it is possible for a diver, properly supervised by instructors, representing the manufacturer, to jump in the water without checking the pressure gauge. Maybe I had a really outstanding Basic class, twenty years ago when SPGs were brand-new technology, but I somewhere got this idea that you NEVER got in the water until you had checked the tank pressure and knew you had plenty of gas.
