I have 4 Triton regulators. There design concept is good in that they are extremly light and can breathe dry at any angle (even putting them in your mouth updide down works ok). They are not a high performance regulator and don't compare to the jetstream. They do not have any way of tuning the demand value apart from a tiny little screw on the demand value. The reg must completely disassembled to get at the screw. Because of their low profile and breath at any angle design, I find them good for secondary regs. of deco bottles. They have propritory hoses but not the same as the the ones used on the jetstream - there was no reason for this because the hose doesn't have an integrated overpressure relief value. The regs are an upstream design (similar to that used in the old twin hose regs). The overpressure relief value is built into the first stage. This means that you can only use the second stage on another brand reg if that reag also has a downstream reg attached.
