I want to see the price of various CO2 absorbents come down. I want to have more people to go diving with. I want scientific institutions to embrace the technology. Most of all, I *DON'T* want anybody getting killed and giving rebreathers a bad name. The liability "overhead" is enormous right now. The only way that will come down is after a good safety record is established. This applies to both SCR and CCR technology. Aloha, Rich P.S. Please note, I'm not commenting about the issues that started this thread - I have no knowledge, and therefore I have no opinions. It's been interesting to follow, though, and it should be even more interesting to see what time will tell.
