Most fully closed systems have 3, and most allow you to read them via two 
independent means - a primary display and a backup display. I've heard 
that the Prisim-II might have a fourth as an option in the counterlung, 
which seems like a good idea to me (if it works reliably). Maybe Mike 
Cochran can elaborate.  Some 'breathers only show you a pooled average of 
the three sensors, while others give you both the average and the 
independent readings.
