I still need some weight with the OMS backplate. The new, improved style is back to a thinner, higher quality Stainless Steel, however not as weighty as the ones shipped this fall. I'd think twice about ordering from OMS. They were unable to replace mine for 3 months. The quality is back though. Customer service from them is poor to non-existent.
