Subject: steel backplates

          Hey folks,

          Can anyone give me info on the OMS stainless steel
          backplate (i.e. weight, cost, local dealer in the DC, MD,
          VA, DE area)? I just bought two pairs of OMS 98s, and would
          like to take the rest of the weight (about 8lbs) off of my
          belt if possible. Is this backplate the way to go??
