Christ, what a spin-meister you are. Look, knucklehead, the whole reason 
for my post was to show what could happen to the tech list if we adopted 
a password protected, PGPed, politically correct moderated system like 
CIS. Yes, Joel, tech could then become a happy place, safe for the 
kiddies and old folks, a place where we could dance barefoot through the 
grass, laughing and singing in harmony. Yes, techdiver could become a 
regular paradise, where thoughtful discussions about spare-airs, and tank 
colors could take place. A place where the sysops could regularly inject 
their personal, political and financial agendas gently into the 
conversations. What a joy that would be!

After spending years in CIS forums, I can't tell you what a breath of 
fresh air techdiver is, warts and all. To see a bunch of PC CIS types 
recommending PGP and all that crap makes me nauseous. I could not care 
less what go's on in CIS, you do what you have to do over there, I just 
don't want to see the stifling CIS atmosphere show up on techdiver.

That said, point made on both sides, lets shutup and dive.
