They expect to have the unit back on the market sometime this year. From what I've heard (mostly second hand) the only problem with the unit was a few leaky fittings. I don't think this unit will be of much use to me. We are thinking of possibly building a fixed volume fraction unit at some point just for experimentation. However I want a rebreather for photographing pelagic fish which are very shy of bubbles. The BMD will always exhaust 1/4 of each breath to the environment.
