       I just ssaw the new light head that American Underwater Lighting is 
making for its cave and wreck lights. This new version is a major improvement .
Arnold has made some other improvements in the lights as well, which we
continue 
to help him with.

        The reflector base is more recessed, making for less side glare and 
losing the "ring" you see on the old ones. Also this makes it easier to protect 
the test tube when on a boat or travelling.

        The whole piece is thicker, allowing for a milled insert to mount the 
base of the Goodman ahndle, much like the Gavin light, meaning that the handle 
will not wobble or tend to come unscrewed.

        He has also changed to the switch we use.
 
        Unlike other manufacturers of dive gear, AUL asks what works, rather 
than making a piece of shit and telling us it works. - g
