Just for the record, "deepreef" was chosen as my Museum account name LONG 
before I even knew what email was, and it refers to the subject of my 

   Rich, the preoccupation with dpeth is killing people, and it is the real 
assholes of diving who promote this. Perhaps you should explain to your museum 
that the new interest in technical diving is being misdirectied by clowns like 
"Mr Scuba" and other insideous strokes who think that depth is an achievement.

   Funny we don't ever see these big timers in Tallahasse, but then you don't 
get to bounce down and back up and claim to be on equal footing there, you 
actually have to know something, be prepared, and do the homework - too much 
trouble for the "DEEPS". 

    I think it is the responsiblilty of those or us who really know and do this 
stuff to focus on doing it right, not how deep we went. Technical diving is 
optimal diving, not how deep. -G
