Tom, I never said Larry Green was unsafe - I dive with him sometimes. I said
his methods are not the best. I used to dive wtih him and Exley, and they both
were gear challenged at first. Sheck swithced over, and Larry started to, but I
have not seen him in months - I did not realize that you had perverted him
again.
Your back/transpack problems I sympathinze with. I just had my knee done
today, a twenty five year old football injury. It has taken me twenty of those
years to loose the unnecessary muscle mass from that crap, and now I finally
got
rid of the last vestiges of those days.
The transformer pack is an open water , single tank bc at best. Since I do
not care what the dive manufacturers think, I can say whatever I want. They are
not my friends, they do nothing for me - I pay my own way. I am just gratefull
fot the people like Beuchat, Scuba Pro , and Oceanic who make some good gear for
us to use. The shit gear makers can stuff hose.
Really, Tom, the answer to a bad situation is not to add more convolution -
the answer is to throw the crap away and start over.- G
