I do not use any gear I think is shitty and I spend a lot of time selecting the gear I use and more time setting it up the way i want it to be. If your reference is the transpack, for the benefit my back gets it is the best peice of equipment I own, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a back injury, which is a significant number of teck diver over the age of 40 and comes from all the years of heavy gear handling and other impact sports. My back is from football and then reinjured in distance running, no muscle and ligment attachment to l5, As long as I work out, stretch befor dives and prior to exiting water and use the right equipment (in this case transpack) it is no problem With a back plate climbing out of caves and walking to the car irritates it, it does not disable or cause me to miss dives but if I can be totally free from any discomfort why not enjoy it. I would love to have one of your tapes, I also would like to get permission to use exerts from it for some of the training videos we are doing. On safety, I do not know what you see as unsafe in larry Greens diving practices. I certainly consider him to be safe on the dives I do with him. Tom
