Sending it or ascending with it as a double spool so that the line can be recovered at the end of the stop. It worked in the quarry. I am not yet confident about using it in open water. Obviously, if recovering the line is not an issue, the system is easier to deal with. Have been carrying a reel with 400 ft of line instead of the upline. Esat Atikkan
