The problem is 'reliability'. Unless there is an unmistakable indication that the statement is tongue in cheek, the tendency is to doubt the knowledge of the poster and discount the entire message. Language and its proper use, in particular the proper use of terminology, is even more important on a forum like thise were a diversity of backgrounds exist. Why do we post - to share information or to ask questions. In the former case, the information is being disseminated & 'wrong' learning or confusin can result if post is inaccurate. My unitless 0.02.
