to Stuart From Johan Candert Dear Stuart: I've been hearing alot of different story's of the history of both rekreational Nitrox and Technical diving. This specific diskussion was an intervju with a person who is writing an artikel about technical diving and how it started. We were talking to people at Ocean Diving and diskussing what year Technical Diving started. At that time two ANDI Instructors stated that ANDI started Technikal Nitrox back in 1987.I got confused about the history, and I didn,t won't to start an argument. But since I'm the one helping him with the artikel I had to ask Tom about the history. However, this is not the first time I hear confusing statement about the history, so I think it was about time that someone who really were there when it started, got the history straighted out. This might not be a problem here in the states, but it's defently a problem in Europe were the knowledge about Technical Diving and it's history is not that great. ou wrote: > >Dear Mr. Mount: > >I was dismayed to find your public statement dated 1/29/96 entitled "ANDI >History". One can drive a truck between "...some >ANDI instructors were in town from Sweden...", and ...a lot of assumptions have >been made...'.
