> I don't see anyone with a fully closed breather doing shit > except for Rod farb, and he is not cave diving. Rich I have to agree with you on this one. George, I made three films using a Bio Marine MK155 last year, I know that counts for shit cause thats how I made my living last year. Not including Rod or Rich I know of 4 other people who make their living using rebreathers as well. >So right now I see three specific markets. Cis Lunar and RBC >Odyssey should >each get a piece of deep tech and commercial (high end $$$ and >mid priced). >And the third market should go to Grand Bleu for the lower end >recreational >market $3000 approx). >What do you think? >Dan, I've never seen the Odyssey so I can't comment on it. I do know however that the Bio Marine unit has been tested for 10s of thousands of hours by the Navy. I also know that if you flood the unit and blow out the electronics you can still make it back to the surface. The fact that it has three sensors and two gauges to monitor po2 makes it a fully redundant system.. In addition anyone having medium plumbing or electronic skills can service 85% of the unit themselves. John E. McKenney
