I've got a DIVE ALERT (air whistle) fitted into my BC firect feed. I had to use it in a moderate sea once, where the boats were some way off. Although deafening (literally) close up, none of the boat crew heard the whistle above the sound of the engines idling. It was only when one boat's engine stalled that they heard us, and then they said that the sound of us yelling was just as easy to hear. When sounding the whistle, my BC deflated as there is no non-return valve down stream of the whistle. This was worrying as I was already short on lift and low on air. I also don't like the way the brass fittings screw into the plastic body. The ultimate strength of the joint cannot be that high, and over tightening is really easy. On the whole, nice idea but could do with design mods. Bill.Dyer@mi*.co*.uk*
