Does it run from a mixture tank, or from separate tanks of oxygen and diluent?<< The price for the CCR-155 is as follows: Cash price for the unit: $13,000 Price for Training on the CCR-155: $900 Price for the EXO-26 FFM modified for the above unit: $1,500 Price for Farb's Cool Computer to work with above: $3,000 Price for a Haskell Pump to fill O2 tanks: $4,000 Price for OTS Comm. Gear (to talk underwater) $1,500 You can order a 155 from Bio-Marine Instruments 1-610-873-7200 Ask for Dick King. Total Package Price: $23,900 The unit has two tanks - O2 and Diluent. Farb and McKenney have these units, and are much more expert on their design. As I said, I haven't received mine yet - they would be the ones to direct specific questions to. As regards talking underwater: You wrote: >> That risks wasting his dive time and distracting him from safe diving. I am sorry to flame, but I feel I must, this one time.<< For that price, I get to go underwater and say any damn thing I want to McKenney... Besides, even when we are working our butts off, we like to have fun. So far, he only wears a "buddy-phone" which allows him to listen, but not speak. That gives me the upper hand underwater to call him names. He makes sure to retaliate topside... I also carry a powerhead on my speargun in case I really make him mad, and he decides to try and kick my ass... Also, when McKenney works - NOTHING can stop him from getting the shot. He is the most focused human being I have ever known - and he always gets the shot, which is why we're diving in the first place... As for the Helicopter: I still think it would be cool to fly through George's caves with one of those suckers strapped to my back, trailing the long hose far behind me... Kevin. HeyyDude
