I have just returned from N. Florida were I had my full cave course with Ann Kristovich and Jim Bowden as instructors. Before that I thought I was a good diver, no I know there is still a lot to learn!! It has been a wonderful and challenging experience. I was never really into cave diving, but I've asked Jim what does it take to be a good deep diver, and he said that the best technique and self control is learned in cave diving, and up I was. Maybe I should say that I have about 30 years of open water experience, with a lot of deep dives on Trimix and Air, surface supplied air, etc, but I felt like an absolute beginner the first time I went into a cave! Ann and Jim are exquisite people and it was a pleasure to dive with them, I will do my best to support their project. I've also heard what it takes to be a diver at Wakulla, wow! I'm working hard on it, I've also seen the "censored" Extreme diving video, I WANT TO BE THERE ONE DAY, if more videos are available they are all welcome, still do not understand who "censored" what and why? I hope you do not mind if I advertise the Spring System Dive Outpost as a place to stay, it is simple, clean, good priced, and the food from Kathy is first class, these people are there to help you, and they are really doing their best. All together it was a very positive thing. Roberto Bagnasco Instructor c/o DiveTek Via Regazzoni 6 6900 Lugano Switzerland Tel: +41-91-9237458 Fax: +41-91-9237576 PS: About caves. Does anybody know about the cave of North Jugoslavia, I've only visited them as a dry caver, but I know there is a lot of unexplored stuff down there. Maybe I like caves now....
