The following are summaries of various discussions:- 1. Carry bottom gas in a single front/side mount 2. Bail out to BC inflator before heading for the surface. 3. Use a full face mask and gas block - it's simpler and safer 4. Use argon/CO2 mix as a suit inflation gas. 5. George and his friends are not welcome on the Scuba Forum cos they make us look like a bunch of 'strokes' You may not feel that any of the above are wrong. Personally for me 4 out of the 5 are wrong, but thats only my opinion. What is wrong however is the nonsense that is 'peddadled by some of the contributors that will ultimatley result in the demise of some unsuspecting, impressionable person who has a goal to do 'technical diving' (bad term of reference, but it seems to be accepted). They may themselves have gotten away with whatever for years - fine, just keep doing it - the bullet is still in the magazine. Perhaps a new certification is in the making, inspired by the world famous Russian Roulette Champion Mr R.Sole. A badge and wall certificate are available for six pulls of the trigger without blowing your head off. Crossovers are available if evidence of deep air diving and or items 1 to 3 above are provided.
