Hi Steve,

Fist, happy new year. Second, I just have a few comments on your post
regarding lines for Ice Diving.

Steve, this is why these lines are not top-of-the-line for ice diving (they
sink).

NEVER knot the line EVEN to attach locking carabiners.  There should be
splices (loops) at the end of the line.  Knots in polypropylen line are
simply no good.
