Harry, CGA is the compressed gas association, they set standards for gases and mixing in the US. Its my understanding that they work closely with DOT and foreign standards organizations. Thus, we get things like CGA 580 connectors and such. They have an excellent book called "The CGA Gas Standards Book" or something that conveys a similiar message. I'll dig up my copy and post an exact title, pub, etc. along with the acutal (as opposed to remembered) standard for mixing gases. I do not know how they came up with the standard. -WES ---------- Who are those CGA guys? Compressed Gas of America or what? And how did they came up that 8 hour (1 night?) stand/1 hour tumble standard? How about having a bent valve stem inside the tank, so the inrush of gas when it gets filled setup a good swirl inside (if ever the "terminal" velocity of the gas as it enters the tank is high enough), if *EVER* some kind of "mixup" is needed?
