Tom,

I am well aware of the material printed in Bennett and Elliott, and I
will repeat my previous question: You state that it is proved that
antioxidants are beneficial in Oxygen toxicity and DCI. Please let
us all know what research has "proven" this in human divers?????

Everything in Bennett and Elliott is opinion based on animal reseach.
There is nothing in Bennett and Elliott (4th edition or earlier editions)
that categorically states that having healthy divers take vitamin E
suppliments will reduce the incidence or threshold to oxygen toxicity
or DCI.

I am arguing with your statement that this has been proved. I am not
arguing with your recommendations for divers to use vitamin E or vitamin C.

John
