George,

If you hate to be rude, then don't be. On the other hand, you might try
pulling your head out of your . . . mask and actually _reading_ a post before
you go off on a rant. You say:

>>When you follow the arrows in a cave, and they end mysteriously pointing the
way you are going, but you can see nothing there because they have been cut
back 400 feet from air, you are in big trouble if you expected to get out, or
needed to get out. <<

. . . but if you'd taken a moment to read you would have already seen me say:

>>I generally agree that many lines are placed too far back in the system. In
fact, I think that all caves should be marked and lined similarly so that
every time you dive a new cave you don't have some new variation on the basic
lining theme.<<

and then there's:

>>I agree that the lines in some caves are poorly marked and laid out
. . . especially in the Yucatan<<

And _I_ don't want to be rude, but what's this "you have absolutely no
idea what you are talking about" crap that comes out of your mouth every
other post? Which part do I have "no idea" _about_, George, the part that you
agreed with me on or the part where I suggest that divers have a
responsibility to be _aware_ of where they are and to BE responsible for
themselves, regardless of the system and lines? Is there something wrong with
this logic?

You would have no way of knowing this, but I've been talking about the line
situation in the Yucatan for over a year now on CIS.

I really can't see what you have to disagree with me about unless you just
have this innate need to disagree.

JoeL
