Even so, this doesn't seem like a 'strictly cave diving' issue; it gets right to the heart of safety in any persuit. When you're at the wrong end of a short line, I expect the last thing you're going to be interested in is some organizational policy. You're just dead, and that would *really* piss me off. Scott.
