In fairness to MASH, I've never been bent during a pretend dive using a
pretend gas mix and relying on my pretend decompression schedules to get me
back to the pretend world above.
Seriously though, it must not be too difficult to quantitate the heat
transfer through these things. Isn't any one on this list in a suitably
equiped lab?
